ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY. Two pet friendly modern country cottages nestled into the slopes of the misty blue ridges of the South East Forests National Park. Large shady gardens, walking trails and a rocky river to explore - perfect for a doggy holiday. Spectacular panoramic views of the Bega Valley, with a variety of birdlife, echidnas, platypus, wombats and farm animals. Not just a pet paradise but a bird watchers paradise.
Features include hearty "honest" dinners on request, soft fluffy towels, luxury linen, fresh flowers, cosy wood fires, candles and chocolates – the perfect restful retreat or romantic hideaway. Cottages are spotlessly clean, budget priced, with special rates for families.
All linen is included, chocolates, freshly baked bread on arrival and other breakfast provisions are supplied in the cottage.
Locally, on the Sapphire coast, there is swimming, fishing, horse riding, canoeing, grape and fruit wineries, art and craft studios, “Art in the Streets” during January, the famous Bega Cheese factory, Bemboka Pie shop, Tathra Wharf, the Pickle Factory, Candelo markets and of course whales in season. Our beaches are pristine and uncrowded and there are many leash free areas for pets.
